Yay! They are finally married. Diego Natalie and I had a wonderful time photographing this couple. They had a beautiful wedding at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church then celebrated at The Coral Gable Women's Club! You might remember them from there epics not to long ago.

the father of the bride was so mesmerized by his daughter he couldn't stop saying how beautiful she was.

Yesterday Diego and I had the honor to photograph our #1 fan's new baby boy sebastian. He is such a cutie and it was awesome to see the new parents as they are gaga over this little one. He's just like his dad already as you will see in the photographs (loves fishing!) He ate every hour and slept just enough for us to capture him in these cute outfits. SOOOO Cute!! Of course Lola their little dog was curious when we put him in a basket on the floor. But we definately had to bribe her a couple of times;) Diego and I are getting the baby itch and I think we will probably begin trying for our very own little one very soon. So stay tuned:) Thanks Maressa & Jorge for dinner and for letting us be a part of such a special moment for you both. You guys are awesome!

Two Weddings

This past weekend we were blessed to capture two amazing couples. Maribel, Hector, Anaid & Fred. I was reminded this weekend of what an amazing blessing it is for us to be a part of so many beautiful weddings. It reminds us everytime to love that much stronger, deeper and without condition. A beautiful wedding for these two who have been married for five years now, but hadn't yet married through the church. Well let me tell you I think it was worth the wait!! For Diego and I this was an extra special wedding... not to say that ALL weddings aren't, but this one was on our anniversary weekend at the same venue as our wedding!! It brought back such great memories:) thank you Belkis and Jose for sharing this special time with us. Breanne & Veron are Engaged!

I'm so excited for these two. I went with Veron on a missions trip to Nigeria a few years back and i'm excited to be involved with his wedding. Their wedding will be in the Bahamas in April of next year a sunrise wedding with a breakfast reception!! Yummy! We had fun shooting their engagement at the tamiami park and Santa's enchanted forest this past week. Veron was a litlle hestitant at first when he found out Breanne wanted pictures of their engement. But as you can see we made him feel at ease and in the end he says it was a lot of fun. Sacha & Paul are Engaged!!

Sacha's a fashionista who brought along her entourage (older sister :) and her wardrobe of clothes for the shoot! Paul is funny and has the same full name as my Uncle Paul small world...Looking forward to their April wedding at the Schnebly Winery in the Redlands.

We had fun shooting Maria & Howard's e-session at South Beach this weekend. The couple was so sweet Maria couldn't stop giggling with Howard he really knows how to make her laugh it as really cute. They are both big basketball fans so we got some pics at the end of them in their jerseys. Maria's team is the Heat and Howard's team is the Bulls. Can't wait to shoot their wedding next year. I had the pleasure of second shooting this wedding last friday with Alina. It's always fun to be a part of weddings, especially when you run into old friends. Alot of the guest from this wedding i had gone to high school with so it was good to catch up with what they were doing. What was unique about this wedding was the style of the music they were playing (all music from the 90s) well mostly. It was crazy because i knew the words to all the songs. Cheryl & Perry were married at the Rusty Pelican on a hot summer day. The skyline in the background was so beautiful i had never seen them set up the ceremony on the upstairs patio, but it was really nice.

The McIntyre Institute Awards Banquet

We had a blast photographing this event for a dear friend. It was exciting to be back to see everyone at the McIntyre Institute. For those of you who don't know I used to teach and dance with them, but i haven't been able to these past two years because of the business commitments I've made during my saturdays. The Awards banquet is held every year to recognize the achievements of all the participants. Each student receives a certificate of completion. The teachers also give out special awards like most improved and Outstanding. The students vote for their classmates who they feel are the most angelic, most evangelical, best sense of humor, etc. But the highlight of the evening is the passing of crowns to a new student in each class who exemplifies what it means to be a christian, a women of God, excellent in class, and understands the ministry of movement.

Abdy & Marie The Best is Yet to Come!!!

It was a real honor just to be witnesses of the wedding of Abdy and Marie. A dream wedding in Geneva, in the northern part of NY state. A beautiful castle right on the shore of the Seneca lake (one of the finger lakes), was the place that they choose for their reception and ceremony. Perfect for them and their love story. Abdy is one of the pastors at our church, and he has been my closest friend since I came to the states, he is like family. It was a challenge for us to photograph this wedding without feeling personally involved. As soon as Marie started to walk down the isle, tears started to come down mine and Jennifer's face. It wasn't only the bride and groom or their parents, it was us to... what an emotional moment!!!

We love you guys, God bless your marriage!!!

We were honored to photograph this couple at their recent wedding in March. It was interesting because they got hitched at the same location Diego and I did. It was the first time we went to the location since our wedding. In my opinion it is one of the most beautiful places to get married in Miami...it's whimsical and romantic. For all you brides who are interested in this location it's the Deering Estate.

It's such a priveledge to photograph people you love so much. And that's what we did with Santi Luchi and and Felipe. (Diego's Brother my brother in law). We took them to the beautiful UM campus where luchi and Snati went to school and captured them together. This was a gift i gave to luchi for her birthday and we were finally able to get together for the pictures. Word of advice : as busy as the miami life is it's not that busy to not spend time with the people you love so make time!!! Enjoy the pictures.

It's cool to be present at an actual engagement "moment" especially when it's one of your closest friends. Abdy acually gave us the oportunity to take actual engagement pictures. He proposed in an air balloon ride located at Bayfront Park in Miami, FL and had the ring in a fairy tail book... how romantic!!!

Love must have been in the air that night because we ran into another couple who were just engaged!!Congratulations!

Today we had lunch with our nephew at Texas de brasil. It was amazing to see an 8 month old tackle a piece of churasco. After that we took him to get a hair cut and well he didn't really like that part as much as he liked the steak.

It was our priveledge to photograph our dear friend Steph and her new husband this weekend. It was truely a Jamaican wedding in every sense. The brides sister was finishing the cake 10 minutes before she walked down the isle!! Although some things were left til the last minute the love and support of family was so beautiful. It was great to see everyone pitching in to see that things were done. What made it extra sweet was the their daughter juliane. The bride and grooms love for the child was beautiful!!! It was great be reunited with an old friend to be a part of this special time in her life. Maressa and i went to high school together and danced together all through school. It is wonderful to see she's found her prince charming and they are making plans to get hitched in March 2008. There engagement session was full of spunk cause that is definately maressa's personallity. They brought along their cute little dog for some oh so glamorous engagement pics.
