The McIntyre Institute Awards Banquet

We had a blast photographing this event for a dear friend. It was exciting to be back to see everyone at the McIntyre Institute. For those of you who don't know I used to teach and dance with them, but i haven't been able to these past two years because of the business commitments I've made during my saturdays. The Awards banquet is held every year to recognize the achievements of all the participants. Each student receives a certificate of completion. The teachers also give out special awards like most improved and Outstanding. The students vote for their classmates who they feel are the most angelic, most evangelical, best sense of humor, etc. But the highlight of the evening is the passing of crowns to a new student in each class who exemplifies what it means to be a christian, a women of God, excellent in class, and understands the ministry of movement.

Abdy & Marie The Best is Yet to Come!!!

It was a real honor just to be witnesses of the wedding of Abdy and Marie. A dream wedding in Geneva, in the northern part of NY state. A beautiful castle right on the shore of the Seneca lake (one of the finger lakes), was the place that they choose for their reception and ceremony. Perfect for them and their love story. Abdy is one of the pastors at our church, and he has been my closest friend since I came to the states, he is like family. It was a challenge for us to photograph this wedding without feeling personally involved. As soon as Marie started to walk down the isle, tears started to come down mine and Jennifer's face. It wasn't only the bride and groom or their parents, it was us to... what an emotional moment!!!

Lindsay & Eric are Married!!!

We were honored to photograph this couple at their recent wedding in March. It was interesting because they got hitched at the same location Diego and I did. It was the first time we went to the location since our wedding. In my opinion it is one of the most beautiful places to get married in Miami...it's whimsical and romantic. For all you brides who are interested in this location it's the Deering Estate.
